It can implement smooth upgrade from ZXMP S380 to ZXMP S390 and from 2.5G to 10G. It can transmit large-capacity and LH service. It is used for backbone transmission network establishment/expansion and large-capacity metro service dispatching to meet bandwidth demands in different fields and at different levels. Powerful cross ZXMP S390 has the capability of 10241024 equivalent VC-4 high-order cross (160G), 20G low-order cross and 120G access. It has 12 10G optical directions, with access capacity of 120G. Multiservice access ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 has multiple service interfaces, e.g., STM-64/16/4/1 optical interfaces, STM-1, E3/T3 and E1 electrical interfaces, 10M/100M and 1000M Ethernet interfaces and ATM interface. It has high-integration service interface board for large-capacity service access. And ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 provides extra data interface via SOH overhead bytes as well as flexible overhead channel add/drop mode. Auxiliary interfaces are on OW board and are used for extra low-rate service. OW has 3 orderwire interfaces, 5 RS-232/422 interfaces and F1 64kbit/s data interface. Transparent overhead transmission ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 supports transparent overhead transmission to increase networking flexibility, resolve the problems caused by fewer fibers, assure NM consistency and NM information continuity, and uniformly manage subnets at different localities. Adaptability to the existing fiber network The existing fiber networks mostly use G.652 fiber, the dispersion problem must be resolved for 10Gbit/s service on standard G.652 fiber. ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 has advanced dispersion management to improve fiber adaptability, especially the adaptability to the existing G.652 fiber network. Excellent timing synchronization processing ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 can select multiple timing sources as equipment timing reference: external clock, clock extracting from STM-N service interface and internal clock. Timing system has three working modes: synchronous locking mode, hold-on mode and free-run mode. The system supports synchronous priority switching and SSM algorithm-based automatic switching. In the complex transmission network, the SSM algorithm-based automatic switching can optimize the timing synchronization distribution of the network to reduce synchronization planning difficulty, avoid timing loop and assure the network synchronization in the best status.
