Used at the access and convergence layers of the Metropolitan Area Network (MAN), the OptiX OSN 2500 can also be networked with the other Huawei equipment to optimize customer investment. The HUAWEI OptiX OSN 2500 subrack has a one-layer structure. The subrack consists of the slot area for processing boards, slot area for interface boards, slot area for the auxiliary interface board, power supply area and fan area. The OptiX OSN 2500 subrack has only one layer. The left portion and right portion of the subrack, where eight slots are present, are slot areas for interface boards. The middle portion of the subrack, where ten slots are present, is the slot area for processing boards.
